blackprint présente la 1ère exposition photographique en Suisse de l’artiste français Olli Bery, « The Wrath of Dispossession ». Un acte photographique singulier sur dix ans (2012 – 2022) composé d’oeuvres de recherches, des éditions limitées et de tirages uniques originaux.
« Olli Bery traverse la photographie en seigneur de guerre, certains combats le mettent à terre, l’espérance d’un triomphe le fait se relever : des mots clamés, des images sans cesse rejouées, des traces préservées, c’est l’opéra de la réparation des êtres qui se met en scène. Gravures, impressions, expérimentations, chaque image comme un enfant illégitime joue sa partition puis revient faire corps dans des installations qui évoquent l’héritage des avant-gardes avec ses reliques et ses fétiches. Contre-culture, mythologie personnelle, incandescence de l’existence, délicatesse des impressions, la façon de mettre en œuvre la photographie chez Olli Bery s’apparente à la description d’un combat »
