Wilde freut sich, die neueste Serie des Schweizer Fotografen Yann Gross in Basel zu präsentieren. In der Ausstellung «Greetings» erkundet Yann Gross die Veränderungen der heutigen Welt anhand der Palme.
Einst ein Symbol für Wohlstand und Freiheit, verkörpert die Palme heute die Paradoxien unserer globalisierten Welt. Der Künstler wirft einen metaphorischen Blick auf die Art und Weise, wie diese Pflanzen, die zu Spiegeln der Menschheit geworden sind, mit den Umweltproblemen und gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen kontrastieren.
