Dans le cadre de l’exposition Quand les images prennent soin est organisée une table ronde (en français) sur la représentation des violences domestiques, rassemblant des artistes, photographes, activistes et iconographes.
Cette rencontre aborde une thématique essentielle, mais souvent négligée: celle des représentations de violences domestiques. En effet, en raison de leur caractère privé, ces actes sont souvent difficiles à représenter de manière adéquate, et les représentations existantes sont trop souvent teintées de sensationnalisme. Cette discussion vise ainsi à mettre en lumière des alternatives pour aborder cette problématique systémique de manière juste et respectueuse.
