Camille Gharbi, Acts of Love, 2018
On the occasion of the exhibition When Images Take Care, this round table (in French) brings together artists, photographers, activists and iconographers to discuss the representation of domestic violence.
This talk will address an essential but often neglected theme: the representation of domestic violence. Because of the private nature of such acts, they are often difficult to portray adequately, and existing representations are all too often tinged with sensationalism. The aim of this discussion is to highlight alternatives for tackling this systemic problem in a fair and respectful way.
With Aline Bovard Rudaz, Rebecca Bowring, Camille Gharbi and Alice Randegger. Moderated by Anne Wyrsch.
