L’artista Marwan Bassiouni, la educatrice Asmaa Dehbi (INES Institut Neue Schweiz) e la curatrice Maria-Cecilia Quadri offriranno una visita guidata alla mostra «New Swiss Views», in programma dal 31 agosto al 6 ottobre 2024 presso akku Kunstplattform. L’evento si terrà in inglese, con possibilità di traduzione in tedesco e francese.
La mostra “New Swiss Views” di Marwan Bassouni immagina un futuro post-migrante per la Svizzera.
Nella serie omonima, l’artista ritrae le moschee in Svizzera dall’interno guardando fuori dalla finestra, ribaltando così lo sguardo normativo e spesso segregante a cui sono sottoposti i migranti in Svizzera. L’apparentemente “altro” viene reso visibile come parte integrante del paesaggio urbano e degli agglomerati del Paese.
La mostra è stata curata da Maria-Cecilia Quadri.
La visita guidata fa parte del programma “Swiss Photomonth Extended”, curato da Rahel Christen.
