“Memory” is a group exhibition featuring works by Delphine Schacher, Rebecca Bowring, Anouck Ruffieux and Arunà Canevascini. Through the unique perspectives of these four artists, this exhibition offers a profound and nuanced insight into the multiple dimensions of memory, whether personal, collective or cultural. The exhibition, organized by SIYU’s Romandie section, aims to open a dialogue on the crucial role of memory in our society.
Through the unique perspectives of four artists, this group exhibition offers a deep and nuanced dive into the many dimensions of memory, whether personal, collective or cultural. This first exhibition organised by SIYU, the Swiss professional photography association, aims to open a dialogue on the crucial role of memory in our society.
As they move through the works on display, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in fragments of history, vectors of memory, and to weave a link between the past and the present. The pieces on display evoke the complexity and richness of human memory. They explore the importance of memory in shaping our identity and our understanding of the world, while highlighting the extent to which the past continues to influence our present and shape our future.
To coincide with Swiss Photomonth, we invite you to discover this exhibition at Pyxis, Lausanne, from 7 to 14 September.
