For the third time, the IPFO is presenting an exclusive insight into the work of the best Swiss photographers. At this year’s edition, around 50 works will be shown at the House of Photography over the course of a month. For the first time, a newcomer prize will be awarded in each category.
Categories:
NATURE: Landscape, nature, animals in their environment.
REPORTAGE + STORYTELLING: street and documentary photography photojournalism.
PORTRAIT: Portraits of people.
OPEN: Architecture, artistic and conceptual photography, food, fine art, etc.
AI: Images that were not created with a camera but with the help of AI or contain elements added by AI. (AI images will not be included in the exhibition but will be shown on the website and in a room with a projector).

Prize money: The Hans and Beatrice Maurer-Billeter Foundation is supporting us with prize money totalling CHF 15,000. The winners in each category will receive prize money of CHF 2000. The IPFO SWISS PHOTO AWARD, endowed with CHF 2,500, will then be presented to the winners. The sponsorship award is aimed at photographers under the age of 25 and is endowed with CHF 500 in each category.
