BA Camera Arts is pleased to invite you to a performative lecture (in English) of Swiss visual artist Flurina Rothenberger and graphic designer Rahel Arnold / NICElabs. The event takes place at Lucerne University of Arts and Design and can also be joined on Zoom.
NICElabs is a publishing project and space for knowledge exchange and mutual learning. For each new issue, young creatives from various fields come together in an African city to form an editorial and learning collective. They discuss topics, perspectives, and experiences, and, guided by mentors, translate their ideas into words and visuals, cultivating the publication process a collaborative effort.
Founders Flurina Rothenberger and Rahel Arnold will present the transcultural learning, creation, and production processes behind NICElabs, with a special emphasis on the very latest edition in Nairobi from summer 2024. The performative lecture will simultaneously be extended to different African cities, from where participants of past NICElabs projects will join to share their experiences and address relevant topics of their transcultural creation.
The lecture will be held in English and can also be joined on Zoom.
